This product is PFC free, because it is a man-made chemical which does not occur naturally. Once released into the environment it breaks down very slowly and accumulates in soil, water, and wildlife. Certain PFC’s have been linked to potential health risks, that’s why this product does not use perfluorinated chemicals to achieve water, oil and stain resistance.
This product is PVC free and does not contain polyvinyl chloride, avoiding to release harmful chemicals and pollutants into the environment which happens during production, use, and disposal. Due to it’s environmental and health impacts this product does not use this toxin to achieve water-resistance and durability.
This product is made with recycled materials. To reduce our ecological footprint on this planet these materials are made of converted waste. Thereby the need for new raw materials is minimized and the amount of waste is reduced as well. They often require less energy and water compared to new materials, lowering greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.
