Statement on the accessibility of the Marinepool website
Marinepool attaches great importance to inclusion, equality, and accessibility for all. We therefore strive to make our online presence accessible to all users, regardless of whether they have disabilities or not.
Feedback on accessibility
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our digital presence.
Compliance status
The European Accessibility Act is an EU directive aimed at improving accessibility. It requires member states to introduce regulations that improve barrier-free access to products and services for people with disabilities.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define the requirements for developers and designers with regard to improving the accessibility of web content for people with disabilities. The WCAG are recognized worldwide as the standard for digital accessibility. They define three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. EU regulations currently require compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is a good standard for overcoming most accessibility barriers.
Marinepool currently partially meets the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that some areas of the website do not yet fully meet accessibility requirements. We are actively working to resolve the known issues.
Accessibility measures
We want our services to be accessible to everyone. To improve accessibility and user experience, we have implemented the following measures where possible:
• Color contrasts have been optimized to improve readability.
• Headings follow a clear structure for intuitive navigation.
• Texts and layouts remain clear and easy to use when zooming.
