In the past, German high-performance sailing had to do without a nationwide club competition with high sporting significance. However, that changed in June 2013 with the introduction of the "Deutsche Segel-Bundesliga" (German Sailing League). Since then, German competitive sailing has had a prestigious club competition where the best sailing clubs in Germany compete against each other in several regattas every year.

The "Deutsche Segel-Bundesliga" has become a significant event in German sailing in recent years and enjoys great popularity. In this club competition, individual clubs must consistently deliver top performances throughout the season to qualify for the finals. Since the 2014 season, Marinepool has been the official supplier of the Bundesliga. Marinepool's support not only benefits German sailing but also underscores its competence and expertise in the field of sailing clothing and equipment. For more information DSBL
