When the days become milder again, the weather often remains changeable. Especially in the morning, by the water, or in windy conditions, a lightweight jacket can quickly become essential. Transitional jackets such as the MP Marina Jacket provide comfortable protection without feeling too heavy or too warm and can be worn flexibly over T-shirts, polos, or lightweight knitwear.

This creates an uncomplicated look for everyday wear, travel, and days by the coast. Combined with jeans, chinos, or sneakers, the jacket looks both sporty and maritime and works just as well in the city as in the marina.

When freedom of movement and protection from wind are both required, softshell jackets are an ideal solution. The flexible material allows active movement while also keeping out cool air and light precipitation. The MP Ligur Softshell Jacket Women is therefore suitable for active days outdoors, travel, or time spent by the water.

Depending on the temperature, it can be worn directly over a shirt or combined with an additional fleece or knitwear layer. This allows warmth and comfort to be adjusted flexibly to the weather and level of activity.

A sudden rain shower or strong wind does not have to interrupt the day. Rain and weather jackets are designed for exactly these conditions and provide protection when the weather becomes changeable. Not every jacket has to be sporty or weatherproof. For the office, events, or a stylish appearance at the yacht club, blazers offer a more elegant alternative. The Edition Tec Jacket Women combines a clean blazer silhouette with technical material and pleasantly flexible wearing comfort.

For our Marinepool women’s jackets, we use different materials and constructions depending on the intended use. We use softshell for jackets where freedom of movement, breathability, and protection from wind are the main priorities. The stretch material is comfortable to wear and is particularly suitable for active days and changing conditions.

For our rain and weather jackets, we use technical materials with waterproof membranes. Depending on the model, we use 2- or 2.5-layer constructions, in which the outer material and membrane are bonded together. This allows protection from wind and rain to be combined with low weight and good breathability.

For warm women’s jackets, we use down or synthetic insulation such as PrimaLoft®, depending on the model. Both materials retain warmth without making the jacket unnecessarily heavy. Synthetic insulation is also particularly suitable for functional jacket constructions that combine warmth with weather resistance.

For our Tec Fashion, we also use technical, partly stretch fabrics. They combine freedom of movement and comfort with a clean, modern appearance, enabling styles such as the Edition Tec Jacket, which combines function and fashion.

Eine Softshelljacke eignet sich besonders für aktive Tage bei trockenem bis wechselhaftem Wetter. Das Material ist elastisch, atmungsaktiv und schützt je nach Modell vor Wind und leichtem Niederschlag. For particularly cold days, we recommend the Dominica Parka Women. The warm PrimaLoft® insulation retains body heat, while the longer cut provides additional protection. At the same time, the parka is windproof and waterproof, making it suitable for cold, wet and windy winter days.

For autumn, a jacket that combines warmth, wind protection and flexibility is a good choice. Softshell jackets, lightweight padded jackets or parkas are particularly practical, as they adapt well to changing temperatures. On milder days, a lightweight transitional jacket is often sufficient, while an insulated model provides more comfort in cooler, windy weather. If you are frequently out in the rain, you should also look for water-repellent or waterproof materials. As an all-rounder for autumn, we recommend the MP Megan Softshell Jacket.
