Pilling refers to small fibre knots that can form on the surface of a textile due to friction. Areas that regularly come into contact with bags, safety harnesses, or other clothing layers are particularly affected.

An anti-pilling finish is designed to reduce the formation of these knots and help the surface remain even for longer with regular use. However, it does not completely prevent wear. Gentle washing, closing zips, and following the care instructions can provide additional protection for the material surface.
