    Das Segelevent der Frauen soll ein internationales inklusives interdisziplinäres Segelfest bleiben und wird daher in enger Absprache mit den Behörden auf Oktober verschoben

    Hamburg. NRV/ Helga Cup. Wenn auch bis Juni noch viel passieren oder vor allem viel nicht passieren kann, so ist doch der Helga Cup zu großund zu international, um diese weltgrößte reine Frauenregatta der Ungewissheit zu überlassen. In Absprache mit der Stadt Hamburg als Active City-Partner hat sich der Norddeutsche Regatta Verein entschieden, den Helga Cup und den Helga Cup .Inklusion vom Juni in den Oktober zu verschieben: statt vom 11. bis 14. Juni wird nun vom 1. bis 4. Oktober gesegelt und hoffentlich dann auch wieder gefeiert und gefreut.

     Während Corona die Welt fest im Griff hat, ein Event nach dem anderen abgesagt wird, muss auch der Helga Cup überlegen, wie es weitergeht. »Wir haben ganz klar eine Verantwortung für die Sportlerinnen, die Helfer und das Orga-Team«erklärt Sven Jürgensen. »Die Teams kommen aus der ganzen Welt, der Cup lebt vom pulsierenden Miteinander und Untereinander - all das geht in Corona Zeiten gar nicht, mal davon abgesehen, dass auch die Reisefreiheit noch in den Sternen steht und eine gewisse Planbarkeit schon nötig ist.«

    eSailing-Bundesliga

    Auch wenn auf Grund der aktuellen Situation reelles Segeln auf dem Wasser untersagt ist, hier kommen die Segler auf ihre Kosten. Durch ein innovatives eSailing-Format eröffnet die Deutsche Segel-Bundesliga bereits vor offiziellem Saisonstart den Wettkampf der deutschen Segelvereine. Segeln weckt weltweit zunehmend auch als eSailing Interesse, nun wird erstmals auch die DSBL in diesem Format ausgetragen: In den Monaten April bis Juni segeln Deutschlands Segelvereine virtuell um den Titel des ersten eSailing-Meisters der Segelvereine.

    Die eSailing-Bundesliga richtet sich an alle Segelclubs (und ihre Segler), die im Deutschen Segler-Verband Mitglied sind. Die Clubs haben die Möglichkeit, sich an sieben Spieltagen und in einem Finale virtuell auf dem Wasser zu messen. Am Ende der Saison wird der Titel „eSailing-Meister der Segelvereine“ vergeben.

    2019 der Wurm, 2020 das Virus! Wird die NORDSEEWOCHE 2020 stattfinden? Um es vorwegzunehmen: Ja, die NORDSEEWOCHE 2020 wird stattfinden! Nur wie? 

    Die Frage kann derzeit noch nicht vollständig beantwortet werden, daher geben wir euch folgende Informationen: Ganz sicher wird eine virtuelle NORDSEEWOCHE stattfinden.

    Ausnahmslos alle unsere Partner, die boot Düsseldorf, die Capitell AG Vermögens-Management, Pantaenius Yachtversicherungen, Budweiser Budvar, Marinepool, Garmin, Alexseal und die Gemeinde Helgoland, um nur einige stellvertretend für alle Partner zu nennen, unterstützen uns in diesen schweren Zeiten wo sie nur können. So sind wir in der glücklichen Lage die Nordseewoche 2020 nicht einfach ausfallen zu lassen.

    Mit Unterstützung unserer Partner, im Besonderen Capitell und Pantaenius, wird es zwei virtuelle Regatten, nämlich den Capitell-Cup Rund Helgoland und das Pantaenius Rund Skagen Race geben.

    2020 edition of Superyacht Cup Palma cancelled in response to pandemic

    Organisers of the Superyacht Cup Palma have cancelled the 2020 regatta scheduled for 17-20 June due to the ongoing global coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and in line with recommendations from the Spanish and Balearic Governments.
    “This ongoing global crisis has made planning for the event impossible and so we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to cancel this year’s event. We urge everyone to stay safe and we look forward to welcoming the superyacht fleet back to Palma in 2021 for what will be the 25th anniversary of Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta,” said event director, Kate Branagh.
    The provisional dates for the 25th anniversary edition are 23-26 June 2021.

    The Organizing Committee announces the cancellation of the 2020 Trofeo Princesa Sofía Iberostar due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and following recommendations from the Spanish and Balearic Governments. This affects all classes (Olympic classes, One-Design, Open Foil and ORC).

    The organizers of the event, that was expected to be held in the Bay of Palma from 25th March to 4th April, deeply regret this situation but must follow the restrictions requested by the Health Authorities in order to face this world health issue.

    Participants who are already in some of the three venues of the regatta -Club Nàutic S'Arenal, Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa and Real Club Náutico de Palma- can stay and keep using the facilities, unless further restrictions from the Government and Health Authorities are applied.

    GC32 OMAN CUP CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS

    Due to ongoing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and following recommendations from Oman’s Ministry of Health, the opening event of the 2020 GC32 Racing Tour in Muscat has been cancelled.

    On 7 March 2020, Oman’s Ministry of Health released a directive, calling for all international events and conferences within the Sultanate to be suspended or postponed until further notice.

    As a result, GC32 Oman Cup organiser Oman Sail and GC32 Racing Tour officials decided it was in the best interest to cancel the six-team event which was due to begin on Wednesday 25 March.

    “We are of course disappointed as we were looking forward to returning to race in Oman to open this year’s Tour. The health and safety of our sailors, staff, and spectators are our top priority and while difficult, this is the right decision,” says Christian Scherrer, Manager of the GC32 Racing Tour.

    The GC32 Racing Tour management is presently in discussion with the teams and local event organisers with the aim of working around the international health crisis to establish how the five event circuit for the ultra-fast flying catamarans can work most successfully for the rest of the 2020 season.

    In light of the developments in the international situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Management Board of the organizing company NAVIGO centre for innovation and development of the nautical sector- held a meeting for an evaluation and monitoring of the situation regarding Yare (Yachting Afersales and Refit Experience), the international event of the yachting industry scheduled for the coming weeks in Viareggio.

    Tuscany remains a completely safe area for business and tourist travel and the authorities has managed protocols and actions that have been reported among the best in Italy also by medical and scientific institutions.

    As a business event with a strong international participation, Yare involves Companies, Stakeholders and Superyacht Captains, 60% coming from abroad.

    The high participation of foreign companies and people in the program of events prompted us to meet their needs and their inability to travel due to the restrictions of airlines and foreign authorities.

    The decision taken by the management board is to postpone the tenth edition of YARE from 4 to 6 November 2020,

    Was für ein Tag... 25. August... 75 km Kiten vom Lager weg in 5 Stunden...

    am Anfang mit 50 km/h Wind mit dem 7 qm Schirm... danach auf 12

    qm Schirm gewechselt... mit 0 Sicht einfach in eine weise Wand

    gefahren... nun sind wir auf 2800mHöhe... gestern noch Sturm mit

    Gegenwind und -30°C kalt... heute angenehme -15°C... ach was für ein

    Gefühl, wenn man so mit 20 km/h über den Schnee fliegt und weiß, dass man ohne

    Wind alles laufen müsste... beide Schlitten sind an einem 10m Seil

    hinter uns angehängt und springen manchmal so richtig durch die Luft... nun

    Camp und schauen was der morgige Tag bringt...
